At my core, I am a naturalist, currently enjoying learning about the flora and fauna of Switzerland, where I have lived for the past year-and-a-half. I grew up in a small town in Vermont in the northeastern U.S., went on to get Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in zoology, in the meantime living at many locations across the country and working or volunteering across the globe. My services vary widely because I have a diverse skill set that I have developed over the years through pursuing my many interests.
I am excited to work with you on ecology (conservation planning, field studies, monitoring, citizen science, project management), data and analysis (data management, analysis, reporting), and writing (science writing and editing, reports, fact sheets, literature reviews, and translations) projects. Most of my work experiences have been related to bird conservation and I continue to focus in this area, but as a naturalist, I enjoy working with any taxa and relish opportunities to expand my knowledge.
